Easy-peasy chocolate loaf

Who knows me, knows very well that the only fruit that cannot be missing in my kitchen is Chocolate! It’s not just my love that I feel for it, but its power to conjure up the craziest smirk on my face.

As many of you may know, there isn’t always a time for long preparation, and that’s why I love this recipe, where you don’t need any special equipment and is really quick to prepare.

Just you, your two bare hands and… chocolate!

Prep Time 20 minutes
Baking Time 20 minutes
Additional Time 10 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 150g dark chocolate (at least 70%)
  • 125g butter
  • 125g powdered sugar
  • 3 eggs (room temperature)
  • 3 spoons of flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and put a baking paper inside of the loaf baking form.
  2. Break the chocolate into small pieces and put them into a glass or porcelain bowl.
  3. Take a smaller pot, fill it half with water and put it on the stove. When the water is boiling, take down the fire slightly and put the bowl with chocolate on top of the pot. Mix the chocolate occasionally until it’s all melted, and then put it off of the stove and leave it aside.
  4. Let the butter slowly melt in another pot, but be careful, don’t let it be too hot.
  5. Whisk the eggs and sugar by hand, until it’s mixed all together and form a mousse (hello there muscle, long time no see, where have you been all these years?)
  6. First, pour the butter into the egg mixture and after that the melted chocolate. Finally, pour the flour and mix until it all the ingredients combine to form a smooth dough.
  7. Pour the dough into the prepared baking form and bake it approx. 20 minutes.
  8. When it’s done, its top looks very hard but when you touch it it’s very soft. Take out the form from the oven and let it sit for another 10 minutes. After that, take the bread out of the form and I recommend you to eat it when it’s still hot.

Notes

Bon appetite and let me know how you liked it!
